Live blog: Snow falling on seniors ...

We're within minutes of kickoff here in Morgantown, and the snow on the field isn't quite what it was two hours ago, thanks to two vehicles that cleared off the field before the game. West Virginia is honoring 19 seniors before their final home game tonight ...

The artificial surface here at Milan Puskar Stadium has tiny little black rubber granules seeded throughout the turf to help soften the surface, and when the machines sweep off the snow, they take a decent amount of the rubber pieces with, so the snow piled up on the sidelines has the look and feel of cookies-n-cream ice cream. Can't speak to the taste ...

There's a good showing of fans here, considering it's genuinely dangerous on the roads tonight -- I passed maybe 15 roadside wrecks on the 80-mile drive down from Pittsburgh, and that was getting to the stadium four hours before kickoff. USF's team buses didn't make it to the stadium until about 90 minutes before kickoff.

Lots of Bulls are wearing the Under Armour thermal sleeves tonight, though it's worth mentioning that strength and conditioning coach Ronnie McKeefery took the field in a gray USF strength T-shirt. "Where are your shorts?" he was asked at midfield, snow swirling around him.

The snow continues to fall here just before kickoff, so we'll have to see if the weather has an impact on the Bulls tonight. By the way, the final score from men's soccer -- Wake Forest 5, USF 0. Still matches the deepest NCAA Tournament run ever for the Bulls.
