USF men's basketball coach Robert McCullum is out after four years and a 40-76 record with the Bulls, and here is the letter sent from USF athletic director Doug Woolard:

Dear Robert:

This letter is to provide you notice of non-reappointment, in the best interests of the University and the Men's Basketball program, for your position of Head Coach Men's Basketball (Position No. 7379) pursuant to USF Regulation 6C4-10.210, Florida Administrative Code.

We will honor your expectation to pay your base salary through April 15, 2009, consistent with our employment agreement of April 16, 2003. For general information regarding benefits issues, please contact Human Resources/Employee Benefits.
