Men's hoops falls 50-42 at Florida Atlantic

Rough night for USF men's basketball, which had never lost to Florida Atlantic but fell 50-42, with no Bulls reaching double digits in scoring and foul trouble and ineffective play forcing an odd spread of minutes across the bench. Here's the game story from the Sun-Sentinel.

Looking at the box score, some bad individual lines -- point guard Anthony Crater played 34 minutes, didn't hit a shot, had one rebound, one assist and two turnovers. Bulls went 1-for-16 on 3-pointers, had eight assists for the game, and had a second starter (Hugh Robertson) go scoreless despite playing 27 minutes.

USF's top two scorers coming in, Augustus Gilchrist and Jawanza Poland, went a combined 4-for-16 from the field with two free throws between them. The Bulls have a week off before playing at Kent State on Dec. 12.
