Men's soccer ends West Virginia's home win streak
USF's men's soccer team continues to pile up impressive victories, taking down the nation's longest home win streak on Sunday with a 2-1 win at West Virginia in the Big East opener for both schools.
The No. 17 Bulls (5-2-1) trailed early but got a goal from Dom Dwyer, then saw freshman Lucas Baldin score on a 25-yard free kick for the go-ahead goal. USF snapped a 13-game home win streak for West Virginia (4-3-1). USF next plays at home Saturday at 7:30 against Providence.
USF's women's team had a 2-0 lead on DePaul on Sunday before the match was canceled due to inclement weather -- the score is wiped clean and the two teams are scheduled to play at 11 a.m. today at Corbett Soccer Stadium.
