More links: QB recruit Trickett picks FSU

The easiest way for me to remember sites I want to link to is to leave a browser window open on my laptop, the downside being that they pile up quickly if I'm not getting a links post up every day or so. So in offering up links, what I'm really doing is clearing out the clutter on my computer, if only for a few hours.

-- The Big East's official site, prevewing eight football teams in eight days, takes a look at USF, with clips of Jim Leavitt and Matt Grothe from the league's presason media day in Rhode Island.

-- USF's campus hockey team, the Ice Bulls, have a new head coach.

-- ranks college football's "40 hottest fanbases," with USF in at No. 15.

-- USF already has a commitment from DeLand senior safety Mark Joyce, and the Orlando Sentinel writes that DeLand junior offensive lineman Trey Pettis has picked up an offer from the Bulls.

-- The Lakeland Ledger writes about USF senior running back Mo Plancher, who will start Saturday as the most trusted ballcarrier in the Bulls' backfield.
