NFL draft: Follow tonight's first round here ...



For you Bucs fans, the Times has a live draft blog from One Buc Place from staff writer Stephen Holder, and I don't want to do another live blog to interfere with that. I'll update the picks here as they happen and we get closer to USF defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul likely becoming the second first-round pick in Bulls history.


We'll say it again -- USF has had just three players go in the first three rounds, ever: Mike Jenkins in the first round (25th) in 2008, Kawika Mitchell in the second round (47th pick) in 2003 and Tyrone McKenzie in the third round (97th pick) last year. They could have that many (maybe one more) in the first three rounds in the next two days.

7. Browns: CB Joe Haden, Florida

8. Raiders: LB Rolando McClain, Alabama

9. Bills: RB C.J. Spiller, Clemson

10. Jaguars: DT Tyson Alualu, California

11. 49ers: OT Anthony Davis, Rutgers

12. Chargers: RB Ryan Mathews, Fresno State

13. Eagles: DE Brandon Graham, Michigan

14. Seahawks: S Earl Thomas, Texas
