Pieces coming together, class at 24
Tying up some more loose ends: Pahokee tight end Kevenski McGee -- he gets my award for Most Common Spelling Error in this year's class, with a lot of Kavenskis floating around -- will sign with USF at a press conference at 1 p.m., according to Pahokee coach Leroy Foster.
Can't confirm it myself, but USFnation.com is reporting that Merritt Island defensive tackle Kyle Dampier is also on board, which is no surprise and puts the class at 24. Again, no big surprises so far, aside perhaps from Tally Godby linebacker Keith McCaskill. Coach Jim Leavitt had told me Tuesday night that the Bulls had a few potential signees who weren't deciding today, so the end of the day might not mean the end of the recruiting news this week ... (How's that for a vague, general tease?)
