It's not a huge surprise, given the way minutes have drastically shifted to freshman Anthony Collins, but sophomore point guard Lavonte Dority is no longer with USF's men's basketball team and is seeking a transfer.

Dority, who opened the year as USF's starter at point guard, will have two years of eligibility at his new school and will be eligible to play in January 2013, presuming he enrolls somewhere for the spring semester.

With Dority out, Victor Rudd and Ron Anderson limited by strep throat and Jawanza Poland serving a two-game suspension, Stan Heath had only six healthy scholarship players available for Sunday's home game against Florida A&M.
