Point guard Josh Heath commits to play for Bulls

Talk about getting recruits from your own backyard: USF men's basketball coach Stan Heath has picked up a commitment for 2013 from his younger son, Josh, a 6-foot-1, 165-pound point guard who led Tampa Prep to a state championship last season.

Josh Heath made an official visit to USF this past weekend, along with two former AAU teammates, forwards Dre Clayton of Orlando Evans and Chris Perry of Bartow. Here's the full story on Heath's commitment from the Times' Joey Knight. The Bulls now have two point guards as part of the 2013 class in Heath and Georgia's Drew Davis, giving Anthony Collins two backups for the 2013-14 season.
