RB Andre Hall gets workout with Texans
After a long summer of waiting and wondering, former USF running back Andre Hall may have another shot at continuing his NFL career. Hall flew to Houston on Wednesday to work out for Texans coaches and could be signing with the team today, his agent Jonathan Kline said Wednesday night.
Hall, who has played the past two seasons with the Denver Broncos, wasn't re-signed after Denver changed head coaches in the off-season. The Bulls' career rushing leader had a tryout this summer with the Giants but wasn't signed.
According to the Houston Chronicle, the Texans brought in two running backs in Hall and former Auburn running back Brad Lester, an undrafted rookie. Houston has just five tailbacks on its current roster, with veterans Chris Brown and Ryan Moats, second-year star Steve Slaton and a pair of undrafted rookies, Arian Foster and Jeremiah Johnson, who are both currently injured.
