RB Andre Hall trying out at Giants' minicamp

Former USF running back Andre Hall, cut loose by the Broncos in the off-season, has resurfaced this weekend, invited as a tryout player to the New York Giants' rookie minicamp.

Hall, who spent the last two seasons in Denver, missed the end of the 2008 season with a wrist injury. The former Dixie Hollins and Bulls standout has popped up in a few blogs covering the Giants. Newsday has a full rundown of all the players in the rookie minicamp, and the Newark Star-Ledger has a note on Hall getting thrown off by a bungee-cord drill during Friday's practice.

USF players have had good luck at these tryouts, as three Bulls -- defensive end Jarriett Buie, tackle Marc Dile and receiver Amarri Jackson -- earned contracts out of the Bucs' minicamp last weekend. Defensive tackle Richard Clebert is trying out at the Saints' camp this weekend. ...
