RB Scott: USF visit was 'great'
Former Colorado running back Darrell Scott has made his first confirmation since a Facebook posting last month saying he would be transferring to USF.
Scott said via text message Thursday that a campus visit to USF last week and went and alluded to coach Skip Holtz's plans to announce his late additions when players report Aug. 4.
"Had a great trip to Tampa and coach said he will have a media deal on Aug 4th," Scott wrote.
Scott was the No. 1 running back recruit in the nation two years ago coming out of high school, but had limited success in two seasons with the Buffaloes. He would have to sit out the 2010 season and would have two years of eligibility with the Bulls.
