Rev'd up: Boggs scores twice in 1st MLS start
A great story gets a little bit better -- Zak Boggs, former Big East Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Sullivan Award finalist, made his first Major League Soccer start on Saturday night as a rookie with the New England Revolution, and he scored both goals in what ended up a 3-2 loss to Columbus.
Check out the MLS official site and you can see video clips of both of Boggs' goals -- he's still new enough they don't have a head shot for him on his player page. The first goal was something of a gift from the Columbus goalie, but the second one is a great score. The broadcaster calls it "a magical night" for Boggs.
