Soccer star Hidalgo going pro

15

November

For once, a short post.

Rodrigo Hidalgo, the top scorer for USF men's soccer over the past three seasons, won't be back for his senior year, signing with an agent with plans to play professionally, either in MLS or abroad.

Hidalgo and Bulls senior Kareem Smith are training with a team in Norway -- Norway! -- and both have signed with former Rowdies star Farrukh Qaraishi. It's a tough loss for the Bulls next season, already losing Hunter West, Dane Brenner and other key seniors from this year's team.
