USF's official site now confirms 20 recruits signing with the Bulls, the most recent additions being Valdosta (Ga.) offensive lineman Lawrence McCoy and Corian Garrison, who's a few posts down here. I'd expect anywhere from five to eight more, and remember that former Iowa State linebacker Tyrone McKenzie, technically a walk-on this spring, doesn't count toward that list, even though he could make a bigger impact than anyone, aside from perhaps running back Mike Ford.

Not to be unofficial Ari Gold to tomorrow's high school recruiting stars, but if you want to build a buzz around your signing day, hold off a few hours. Most of the faxes are in by 10 a.m., but the real suspense is for the afternoon announcements -- Belle Glade's Jatavious Jackson, for instance, is a 3:30 after-school deal. Another one still in play is Jacksonville Bartram Trail offensive lineman Thomas Edenfield, who will announce at noon between USF and Southern Miss. His high school coach, Darrell Sutherland, told me Tuesday that Edenfield hadn't yet decided, so there's a little intrigue there ...
