Three home fields for USF baseball in 2010

With construction beginning this spring on a new baseball stadium, USF will split its 2010 home schedule between three locations -- on campus at Red McEwen Field, at the Yankees' Steinbrenner Field and at the University of Tampa.

The Bulls will stay on campus through the end of March, but will be off campus for their final 15 home games. Of those, 11 will be at Steinbrenner Field, with four games at UT from April 27-May 2.

USF will also play at Steinbrenner Field to face Miami on March 3 for the "Florida Four" tournament, which also includes Florida and Florida State. Add in three games in the Big East-Big Ten Challenge -- at Bright House Stadium, Al Lang Field and the Naimoli Complex -- and the Bulls will play in six different venues in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. What's more, the Bulls have games at Florida, Stetson, North Florida, Central Florida and Miami, so USF will play in 11 stadiums in the state of Florida this spring.

The Bulls will host the Big East tournament again this spring at Bright House Stadium in Clearwater from May 26-30. You can see USF's 2010 baseball schedule online at
