First, here's a link to our latest update on today's unfolding Jim Leavitt story, with the coach strongly denying accusations from a report that he grabbed walk-on running back Joel Miller by the throat and hit him in the face twice during halftime of USF's win against Louisville last month. We've also talked with Miller's father, Paul, who is telling a different story than what he was quoted as saying by Fanhouse.


Times columnist John Romano drove over to USF and spoke with Paul Miller on Monday afternoon, and his column for Tuesday's newspaper says it's hard to really know what happened in that locker room, but Leavitt can learn from this the next time he thinks about headbutting a player as a motivational tactic ...
