Transfer Anderson steps up as leader for Bulls
With the USF men's basketball team's trip to Brazil now less than two weeks away, Wednesday's Times will have a feature on power forward Ron Anderson, who has emerged as a team leader as the Bulls prepare for the season ahead.
Lots of interesting things to learn about Anderson, who weighed about 320 pounds when his senior year of high school started and is now down to 240, thanks to diet and exercise. Here's a photo from the Times' Stephen J. Coddington of Anderson sporting the new USA jerseys the Bulls will be wearing in the Pan American University Championships next month.
