TV clip shows USF QB Daniels at 10 years old

It's the story here in Tampa this week, and it's certainly the story in Tallahassee: Hometown star B.J. Daniels coming back home as starting quarterback for visiting USF in Saturday's game at Florida State.

Tallahassee TV station WCTV has a cool video clip with interviews with Daniels' parents, as well as old clips from Daniels as a 10-year-old multi-sport star, telling the camera that football is his best sport.

A few more Daniels stories to read about ...

-- The Sporting News' Dave Curtis has a Q&A with Daniels, who says he's "awful" at football video games.

-- The Tallahasee Democrat writes about how Daniels literally grew up on FSU's campus when his father worked for the school.

-- The Lakeland Ledger's Tom Zebold writes about how USF's coaches don't want to rein in Daniels, much the same way they were with Matt Grothe.

-- Just a reminder we'll be chatting live here at noon today -- myself and FSU beat writer Brian Landman -- so stop back and ask a few questions ...
