USF enters AP poll at No. 22; unranked by coaches

Fresh off its impressive win at then-No. 16 Notre Dame, USF football has its first national ranking since Nov. 2009 as the Bulls came in at No. 22 in this week's Associated Press poll. USF remains unranked in the coaches poll, with enough vote-points to rank 27th overall.

USF came in two spots lower than the weekend's other big unranked winner, Baylor, which beat a higher-ranked team in TCU. The Horned Frogs, who join the Big East next season, remained ranked at No. 25, while Notre Dame dropped out of the poll entirely. In the coaches poll, both Baylor and USF just missed the top 25, while West Virginia moved into the rankings at No. 24.
