USF men's hoops goes for 5-2 at DePaul

USF men's basketball has a chance to continue its strong momentum in Big East play today at 2 p.m. as the Bulls have a key road game at DePaul, against a Blue Demons team they've beaten six times in a row.

Win today, and USF (11-8, 4-2) can move another step closer to serious talk about postseason play -- the Bulls still have 11 conference games remaining after DePaul, and even a .500 record the rest of the way would point to at least the Postseason NIT. DePaul's only Big East win this season has been against Pittsburgh, which is now 0-7 in conference games.

The Bulls have a quick turnaround, going to Milwaukee to play Marquette on Tuesday night before returning home to face Providence a week from today at Tampa Bay Sports Forum. USF also has two games each against Providence (1-6) and Pitt (0-7) in its next eight games, but closes the year with a tough four-game stretch: at Syracuse, vs. Cincinnati, at Louisville, vs. West Virginia.
