USF men's soccer clinches division title with 0-0 tie
USF men's soccer clinched the Big East's Red Division championship on Monday afternoon, winning the title by earning a 0-0 tie at runner-up Rutgers. It's the first division title in six years for the Bulls, now 12-2-3 on the season.
USF has clinched an opening-round bye for the Big East tournament and will host a quarterfinal at 1 p.m. Sunday. The Bulls' strong position in the national polls should assure them of at least a top 16 seed if not a top eight, which would allow USF to potentially host multiple games in the NCAA Tournament.
