USF-Miami game nearly sold out
Here's something out of nowhere: USF's Nov. 28 home game against Miami is nearly sold out, with USF announcing Monday that only 650 tickets remained for the game.
USF says the only remaining tickets can be bought through a three-game miniplan that gives you tickets to home games against West Virginia, Louisville and Miami for $75. The Miami game is USF's first home game against one of the state's big three traditional powers. The Bulls played at Miami in 2005, losing 27-7.
The Miami game is closer to selling out because the Hurricanes got a larger allotment of tickets -- 8,000 -- as part of the contract between the two schools. Big East opponents, by comparison, are allotted a total of 3,400 tickets for USF home games. If Miami is unable to sell out its allotment, there would be additional tickets available for Bulls fans next month.
Tickets can be bought through GoUSFbulls.com or by calling 1-800-GoBulls.
