USF women get first Big East victory



USF's women's basketball team picked up its first Big East win of the year Tuesday night, ending a seven-game losing streak with a 68-64 victory against Seton Hall.

The Bulls (10-11, 1-6) got 22 points from guard Andrea Smith, and led by as many as 14 in the second half before the Pirates (7-13, 0-7) made a late run. Forward Daleisha Carn had 12 points and nine rebounds, and point  guard Sasha Bernard had 10 points and seven boards.
