Vegas: Bulls favored at home vs. Cincinnati

USF will be facing a higher-ranked team on Thursday night, not to mention a Cincinnati team that has beaten the Bulls three years in a row, but the folks in Las Vegas say the Bulls aren't an underdog.

The opening line at for Thursday's USF-Cincinnati game has No. 21 USF as a 1.5-point favorite against the No. 8 Bearcats, despite USF's three-game losing streak in the rivalry. USF has won five games in a row against ranked opponents, and the Bulls are 2-0 in games in which both teams are ranked.

There are only nine unbeaten teams left in Division I-A football, so to have two of them squaring off on ESPN on a Thursday night, ratings should be pretty strong for this week's game. We'll have plenty of news and notes to build up to kickoff in the next four days ...
