Video: Coaches, Daniels talk after Cincy loss

I'm a bit late with some of this video from after Saturday's 37-34 USF loss to Cincinnati, but then again, there isn't another game for two weeks, so there's not exactly a hurry, right? We'll start with the second half of Skip Holtz's postgame comments -- you'll see he's still upset about the officiating from last week's Connecticut loss, enough so that he won't criticize his players for their 10 penalties against the Bearcats until he sees exactly how many actually committed penalties.

Here's quarterback B.J. Daniels, who threw for a school-record 409 yards in the loss, but also had costly turnovers and went away from the game plan in opting to run the ball on the goal line just before halftime.

Here's offensive coordinator Todd Fitch, who had much more success on third downs and with downfield passing, moving the ball with ease but coming up short -- only once in USF's history have the Bulls scored more points and still lost.

And here's defensive coordinator Mark Snyder, who went with a nickel package and kept Cincinnati in check until the final quarter, when the Bulls gave up 20 points, including a 70-yard touchdown drive in the final 90 seconds. And shoutouts to two good guys in the background, AP's Mark Didtler (left) and's Josh Newberg (right).
