Video: Holtz, players talk after 2nd scrimmage
Here's some video from after Saturday's second spring scrimmage -- we'll start with Skip Holtz, who liked the offense's showing but also saw it come against his defense, which was flagged for 13 penalties.
Here's a second clip of Holtz answering questions about the scrimmage, which saw three Bulls quarterbacks combine for 550 yards, seven touchdowns and just one interception.
Here's quarterback B.J. Daniels, who threw a 59-yard pass to Andre Davis to the 1-yard line on the first play, then connected with him for a 35-yard touchdown on the last play.
And here's linebacker DeDe Lattimore, talking about the need for the defense to play better with fewer penalties.
Here's backup quarterback Bobby Eveld, who looked sharp, completing his first eight passes for 100 yards and two touchdowns, a marked improvement from his first spring scrimmage. His brother Tommy, who will walk on at USF this fall, watched from the sidelines.
Finally, here's defensive end Ryne Giddins, who arguably had the best night defensively, consistently getting enough pressure on Daniels to have plays whistled dead. He had pressure on Eveld on the game's only interception.
