Video: Holtz, players talk after first scrimmage

All sorts of video from after Friday's USF football scrimmage -- first up is head coach Skip Holtz, who talks about the difficulty in reading much from a scrimmage, knowing that a good play on one side of the ball can be a bad play on the other side.

And here's quarterback B.J. Daniels, who played well Friday, especially on third down, with three conversions in his first two drives.

Lots of video! Here's left tackle Mark Popek, talking about the progress of the offensive line, which is working in two new starters -- three, with Danous Estenor out right now.

Next is safety JaQuez Jenkins, who had an interception and nearly two more picks -- he explains which players on the team are "freaks." Good stuff.

Finally, we have defensive tackle Luke Sager, who has been working with the first-team defense and was part of a stout run defense in Friday's scrimmage.
