Video: If it's Vero, it must be bucket hat for Holtz

Loyal blog readers will recall that the official Vero Beach headwear of Skip Holtz is ... the USF bucket hat, which made its video debut last year, not once but twice.

So as the Bulls made their Vero debut on Wednesday afternoon, it was no surprise to see Holtz again in the bucket hat, enjoying a new area of the Vero Beach Sports Village that has a full football field lined off for the Bulls' use, after two years of running routes in the outfields here. (And if you're scoring at home, in today's edition of the Holtz Logo Count, it's a 2-2 tie, with USF and Under Armour headed to penalty kicks.)

Back in Tampa, we usually get Holtz inside in front of a sponsor-branded backdrop, so today's outdoor video takes me back to the early video days on the blog here, where half the fun was watching the parade of players making cameos behind Holtz as he talked. Watch long enough, you could see Chris Hovan, or even Kevin Patrick! (And we'd get on Holtz for using "lightning" as a verb, but that would just be piling on.)
