Woohoo! Woohoo!

What great news to come back to the blog with after a long weekend: USF's home football game with Syracuse on Nov. 11 has been moved to a noon kickoff.

USF looooooves night games at home, which is great for fans but not so great for writers on deadline. Games that start at noon, however, are positively dreamy, and I get two in a row now. No insane deadline crush, no filing a superquick game story the instant the game ends. Just a nice afternoon at Raymond James Stadium, and Jim Leavitt can take all the time he needs, win or lose, to talk to his team before addressing the media.

Basketball season is one week away, or at least basketball exhibition season. Lots to write about. For now, I'm just excited about noon kickoffs. It's Monday, so multiple Woohoo!s are easier to come by early in the week. Oh, and the 'Cuse game is on ABC TV-28 locally, for those of you who can't make it to RayJay.
