Jim Harbaugh coming back to USF for Michigan football satellite camp
Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is coming back to Tampa Bay.
The Wolverines' coaching staff will join USF's staff for a one-day joint camp on June 4 at USF. The move isn't a surprise; Michigan held a similar satellite camp here last year, and Bulls coach Willie Taggart is close to the Harbaugh family.
"We'll have two winners together," Taggart said. "He came last year, and we both won. It's a great opportunity to get him back here and work together and get some really good prospects on our camps and go through camp. They'll get coached up by two really good coaching staffs.
"Just having him out here and how he's so energetic and gets into practice and seeing him out here with his cleats on, it's pretty cool to see. He's passionate about what he does."
This is the latest example of Harbaugh coming into Florida. His Wolverines practiced during their spring break at Bradenton's IMG Academy in a move that upset some rival coaches.
This year's satellite camp is for athletes from incoming ninth graders through the age of 21. It runs from 9 a.m. until noon and costs $40.
