NBA, WNBA executives set for USF lecture series
A nationally known entrepreneur and NBA/NHL executive are among the guest speakers scheduled for the third annual USF Sport and Entertainment Lecture Series, to be held next week on campus.
The two-day event is set for next Wednesday and Thursday in the Oval Theater inside the Marshall Student Center at 4103 USF Cedar Circle. Admission is free and open to the public, but those wishing to attend must register in advance.
Appearing are Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils CEO Scott O'Neil, Papa John's founder/CEO John Schnatter (who appears with Peyton Manning in the national pizza chain's commercials), and former WNBA president Donna Orender.
The series, presented by FOX Sports Florida and the Tampa Bay Lightning, brings together top industry professionals to discuss global sport and entertainment industry topics. USF offers a sport and entertainment management MBA.
