Thanks to the wonders of the web, Bulls fans have an outside chance at watching USF senior Matthew O'Neal's national title quest live tonight.

O'Neal, seeking to become the school's first national champion in 23 years, is the favorite to win the men's triple jump tonight at the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore. The event starts at 8:30 p.m. EST.

While ESPN's live coverage of the meet starts at 8:30, broadcast TV is notorious for providing scant attention to field events. However, the network will have a camera on nearly every ongoing event, and will provide auxiliary coverage online at this ESPN3 link.

O'Neal, already a five-time All-American, will try to become USF's first national champ -- in any sport -- since Jon Dennis won the second of his back-to-back outdoor 5,000-meter titles in 1993.
