Two more locals commit to USF
The Bulls' staggering late-summer recruiting momentum continues, with Armwood S Mekhi LaPointe and Jefferson DE J'Bril Glaze announcing their non-binding commitments to USF via Twitter in the last 15 hours.
They are the 11th and 12th rising seniors to commit to Willie Taggart's program since July 23. USF has 14 commitments from the Class of 2017.
Both are three-star prospects, according to 247Sports.
LaPointe, whose 10 interceptions led the state last season, and Glaze are ranked 24th and 37th, respectively, on the latest HomeTeam 100 list of the area's top prep players. Glaze is the third current Dragon to commit to USF in the last week, joining rising senior OG Jean Marcellus and rising junior ATH Jermaine Eskridge.
