USF plans signing day celebration
Evidently, the Bulls are anticipating a signing day worth celebrating.
A series of USF festivities, stretching from campus to Kennedy Avenue, are on tap for Wednesday, the first day high school seniors may sign national letters of intent.
In addition to its typical signing day coverage across its social-media platforms, USF is staging a National Signing Day Luncheon for Bulls Club members at 12:30 p.m. at the Tampa Club, located on the 41st floor of the Bank of America building in downtown Tampa.
Coach Willie Taggart and his staff are slated to appear to talk about USF's newest signees (at least those who fax their letters of intent before lunchtime). Tickets are $25.
Additionally, Taggart and Co. will appear at the Bulls' traditional signing day party from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Sun Dome, before the 20th-ranked women's basketball team plays host to Cincinnati.
All basketball ticket-holders and USF students will be admitted free, though cost for the dinner buffet is $15. For football season-ticket holders, cost is $15 (which includes the buffet and ticket to the basketball game) and $20 for non-season-ticket holders (also includes buffet and ticket).
Tickets for both functions can be purchased here.
