USF receiver Ryeshene Bronson says he's out for season
Bulls senior WR Ryeshene Bronson announced via his Instagram account Tuesday he'll require season-ending surgery to his right shoulder.
The injury occurred during preseason camp in early August, and Bronson -- whose arm had been in a sling until recently -- hasn't appeared in either of the Bulls' first two games.
Because he played as a freshman in 2014, he still has a redshirt year available.
A rangy speedster capable of stretching the field, Bronson (6-foot-3, 194 pounds) has 30 career receptions for 531 yards and three touchdowns. He exited spring practice atop the depth chart at one of the outside-receiver spots.
