USF's Collins polishing game at national events



USF point guard Anthony Collins, eager to guide the Bulls back to the magic of his freshman year and the NCAA Tournament, has been busy in the past month, participating in two national invitational events as a warmup to the season ahead.

Collins took part in Deron Williams' Nike Guard Skills Academy in New Jersey last month, then went with Victor Rudd to Los Angeles to spend three days as counselors at Under Armour's "Undeniable Grind Session" gathering for top high school prospects. He's healthy and working on his shooting, trying to be a more complete guard and a leader in his third season directing the Bulls.
