Pre-Power Couple: Katherine And Charlie
Back then they they were just a couple of 30-somethings - unattatched, attractive, snappily dressed and not yet on their way to political stardom. But what a couple: Katherine Harris and Charlie Crist.Sure enough, the Republican frontrunner for the U.S. Senate nomination and the Republican frontrunner for the gubernatorial nomination acknowledged to Buzz that they used to date in their pre-elected office years. "He's the nicest guy. I loooove his mom and dad,'' Harris told us before taping a "Politial Connections" interview that will air Sunday on Bay News 9 in Tampa Bay.
"I thought she was charming and lovely. We had a nice couple of dinners,'' Crist said by phone, pegging the time frame to more than 15 years ago, when he was working as Connie Mack's political director. "She has remained a dear friend and she is a great public servant."
A chuckling Harris was reluctant to provide us many details. "You think I'm going to tell you? You'll put every word on the blog!"

Ok, so Charlie likes girls... big deal, so do 85% of all men in America! What I want to know is what made the Buzz publish this article in the first place? I would hope that the Crist campaign wouldn't have leaked this just to gain a leg up with the homo haters.

I agree with the Gallagher spin option, he almost can’t pass on it. He’s gonna need to use any angle available. Bottom line Crist can deny it all day long.. but the sky “looks” blue, and Charlie screams gay… and I’m not talking ben gay… although who care what his name is… dating KH only proves it, really.

How's crist's new girlfriend he takes to the whitehouse? Is he in a quandry? Who he likes and who he needs for a photo op are two different things.
It was hard for crist, he really didn't make any money, excpet for his state senate meager salary. having everyone around you so much more brilliant and wealthy does play on you after a while.
Both are almost 50 years old, with no children in the background. Did they both expect their political careers to take such a toll on their personal life?
