Davis has 80, maybe 85 -- very few elected officials it looks like.

Maybe he should announce Bob Graham again (hehe)

Why is Kelley Smith on both lists?
Did he switch? Wouldn't blame him.

Why do I feel as though I'm in an echo chamber whenever the name "Rod Smith" is mentioned in this blog?

I guess I do have to give props to the Rod Smith campaigners for their enthusiasm to create buzz, if not their obvious lack of transparency.

skink ... nice to meet you ... I'm a stay at home mother and wife in Tampa .... a relative newbie with an interest of our state and country. No staffer here darlin' ... just a loud and proud Florida Democrat who happens to be a strong, strong Rod Smith supporter.

Senator Smith wowed me back in Dec at the FDC in Orlando and wow'd my neighbors, friends and family when he came to my house on Memorial Day ... mighta read about it here in St Pete Times .... Adam S had a chucke with my car labeled not only with a "Rod Squad Shuttle" sign but also the "Jesus" fish on the back ....

I'd love to invite you to a "Grassroots Party" someother supporters and I are hosting for Senator Smith next Monday the 26th here in Tampa ... we'll be at the Sociedad la Union Marti-Maceo in Ybro from about 6:30 - 8:30pm and would love for you to hear the good Senator.

I'll betcha a good cuban you'll be impressed by the Senator and will then know why I strongly believe that Rod Smith is the Democratic candidate that the republicans fear the most :)

Holding onto North Florida Democrats is essential for a D to win statewide. Rod Smith is the obvious favorite to win their votes in September and again in November.
Jim Davis holds little appeal to these Blue Dogs, who will not vote for the more liberal candidate in the primary or general election.
