Speakeasies Coming to Brandon?

She's been called many things, but a Prohibitionist? Well ...
Ronda Storms appeared before an interview panel for the powerful pro-business lobbying group, Associated Industries of Florida, at the Hyatt Regency in Tampa two weeks ago. The socially conservative Republican is running against former state Rep. Sandra Murman and businessman Ray Young in the GOP primary for the state Senate District 10 seat.

Associated Industries president Barney Bishop's assessment is not the kind candidates like to hear. "She was weird," Bishop said. "She didn't score any points with us." More here.

Storms is a bright light that will soon burn itself out. Her problem is that she turns her wrath towards members of her own party as easily as she does to strip club owners. This is more proof that the Republican establishment will fight tooth and nail to keep her from winning that primary.

Also going up against Tom Lee's hand-picked candidate is not bright and (if she were elected) would have a tough time getting anything done in Tallahassee other than having articles published for her hijinks.

    I agree completely blue dog.
This SD-10 race just keeps getting more and more interesting. I know the Rs (Storms, Murman, and Young) will be scrapping this one out. The Ds have a very solid, albeit still relatively unknown, candidate in Stephen Gorham.
But who is this WRI candidate Blake? If she is there to run as a moderate Republican, she should have consulted with Earl Lennard first. At least I know Ronda's motivation - to push her religious agenda on me. What's the motivation of a 23 year old R to jump in as a write-in? If she isn't careful Ronda will unleash her minions on her poor young misguided soul and exorcise her right out of Valrico.
Can you shed any light on this one Adam?

Storms has fallen in love with of her own press. She is “weird”.

I absolutely love this comment from the story…
“Why is it every time her mouth overruns her a-- that she's being mischaracterized and misquoted?'' Stiles asked. "She's the one who gets set up? She wasn't set up."
Stick with Hanity, Rhonda. He loves both you and Katherine…

Stephen Gorham (Democratic candidate for Dist 10) is a proud veteran and he can handle stormy Storms ... Where has RStorms served her country?

only in the safety of her home base .....

I'm looking forward to Stephen's "Sock it to Storms" Sock Hop on the 30th of this month ... it'll be fun twisting to her discomfort .... she definitely is not a voice I want to hear in Tally - bad thing for ALL Floridians ... unless you can walk on water :)
