Super Bowl hotspot: Ocean Prime

JANUARY 29, 2009

Went back to Ocean Prime (2205 N. West Shore Blvd., Tampa, (813) 490-5288) tonight in the name of diligent Working-for-the-Man commitment. Here's who was there (and some of these guys were so close they were breathing on my food):

Hines Ward, wide receiver for the Steelers (sprained knee looked fine to me)
Santonio Holmes, another wide receiver for the Steelers
Victor Hobson, linebacker for the Arizona Cardinals
Matthew Stephen Leinart, quarterback for the Cardinals (and Heisman Trophy winner)
Monty Beisel, linebacker for the Cardinals
Former Steeler Jerome Bettis, that's "The Bus," but he was looking sophisticated and effete tonight
Michael Strahan, former defensive end for the New York Giants and current football analyst on FOX NFL Sunday
Eddie George, Cowboy, Heisman Trophy winner, etc.

They ate a lot of fish and drank a lot of bottled still water. Shall we follow suit?
