Best of Tampa Bay

The annual Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center's Taste the Best of Tampa Bay is set for Saturday, April 4. TBPAC has been putting on this fundraising shindig for the past 24 years, raising more than $1 million since its inception to support entertainment and education programs at the center.

This annual fundraiser hosted by The Producers volunteer group features samplings from more than 40 of the bay area’s top restaurants (for the superstar lineup of restaurants, go here), live music on five stages, premier wine tasting and a fabulous silent auction with original artwork from more than 20 local artists.

The evening gets under way at 7 p.m. at Louise Lykes Ferguson Hall, Carol Morsani Hall and the Riverfront Promenade, with an expected attendance of 1,500. Ticket prices: $60 TBPAC donors, $80 general admission, $1,100 per table. Call (813) 229-7827 to buy tickets.
