Well, not exactly. But I wrote this here story about how much this food writer and former chef hates Florida and Florida food (his memoir, Cooking Dirty, by the way, is an immensely fun read). And it seems that my story was the first time his picture had been taken public (his picture appears on the book flap, so I wasn't pulling a dirty trick). So, in his blog last week he went public, citing my story as the impetus for the self-outing. Not sure exactly what he had in mind--as I know, book tours and such are pretty tricky if you're supposed to keep your mug on the down-low.

I suppose this post is about as meta-level as I'm willing to get: my story/post prompting his post prompting this post. Like a hall of mirrors in cyberspace...
