Wow, it's hot and heavy with the new restaurants lately. Seems hopeful, doesn't it? Peter Pergola just got in touch to tell about his new Jackson Street Bistro in the Suntrust Financial Centre, downtown Tampa's prestigious office complex. It has been open for eight weeks in the space that used to be the Board'n House. The aim is a Tuscan bistro vibe. Breakfast (served all day) and lunch, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday, with a lot of healthy options. The space has 114 seats inside with 25 foot ceilings and an open kitchen, with an additional 43 seats outside with a quiet garden atmosphere right downtown.
