Breast friends: a "nurse in" protest at Chick-fil-A
According to the Orlando Sentinel, last Thursday Chylain Krivensky was asked to cover up the goods as she breast-fed her 6-month-old daughter at the Chick-fil-A at 3391 University Blvd. in Winter Park. The next day she went back with a group of 30 parents and staged a "nurse-in." The manager responsible for the cover-up apologized for making a "doozy" of a mistake. All's well that ends well and all parties are contented with the resolution. It's a good reminder that state law allows public breast-feeding with full exposure.
