Come on, Tampa Bay chefs. Represent.
The Bocuse d'Or USA Foundation is calling all talented chefs to apply to represent the United States in the prestigious Bocuse d'Or International Culinary Competition, which will take place in Lyon, France in 2011. Established in 1983 by Paul Bocuse, Bocuse d'Or is an international culinary competition in which teams from twenty-four countries compete for top honors and international acclaim.
The Bocuse d'Or USA Foundation, led by Daniel Boulud, Thomas Keller and Jerome Bocuse, is seeking qualified chef applicants who will successfully represent the United States at the global competition. Sixteen applicants will be selected to compete in the U.S. semi-finals and finals competition, which will be held from February 4-6, 2010 at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park. The Foundation will then select one competitor to serve as Team USA in the international competition in 2011.
The deadline for applications is November 30, and the application form can be found here.
