'Tis the season for restaurants to give back to community
Donatello Restaurant will celebrate its 25th year of Italian hospitality in Tampa Bay by donating 10 percent of all sales from Nov. 30 through Dec. 4 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay.
And head to the Oldsmar Pollo Tropical (3134 Tampa Road) tomorrow (Wed.) where Florida Bank will be performing some unspecified random acts of kindness starting at 11:30 a.m. The idea: "Random Acts of Kindness Program was developed to empower employees to randomly perform and fund caring on behalf of the bank for unsuspecting people or groups." Is it just me, or does that sound like free money?
And then at the Bungalow (2202 W. Kennedy, Tampa) through the end of tomorrow, donate a canned good for their canned food drive for local charities and they will give you a free domestic draft, house wine or well drink.
IKEA Tampa celebrates Black Friday with some savings, with free breakfast Fri., Sat. and Sun. The free breakfast consists of eggs, bacon, potatoes, and coffee and is served until 10:30am. All three days also features savings of up to 50 percent on holiday decorations.
