New Moroccan restaurant on the horizon for St. Pete
Via colleague Luis Perez:
Charles Marco, owner of Fortunato's, is going to launch a Moroccan restaurant inside the Italian bar space adjoining Fortunato's Pizza on Central Avenue. The new Moroccan chef currently operates an Italian restaurant called Carino's on Treasure Island.
Moroccan is certainly one cuisine we have precious little of around here. Let's hope it proceeds apace.
