Art Jewelry: Pendant Palooza
I can tell you from my experience working in a gallery, people love art glass jewelry, particularly pendants. They make great gifts. Find a plethora at Zen Glass Studio's Pendant Palooza on Saturday. They're showcasing jewelry from more than 50 cutting-edge artists from around the globe, including highly collectable pendants. You will find a huge variety of styles, though I'm especially fond of ones that look like miniature encapsulated universes, like the one pictured. Live glassblowing demonstrations happen throughout the evening, and a silent auction will benefit active military, veterans and first responders with free glassblowing classes. 5-10 p.m. 600 27th St. S., St. Petersburg.
