Beautifully Disney makeup line makes grown women princesses
When I was little, I would have said I wanted to swap places with Ariel, the version of Ariel who still lives under the sea, the one who is spunky and can speak and doesn't have to trade her voice for legs and a totally obtuse man. Nowadays, especially on the bad days, I think it might be more fun to swap places with Ursula. Think of all the jokers you could whack with those tentacles. Also, purple skin is very sophisticated.
Perhaps it's sad I'm even thinking about this, but Disney, in its infinite marketing wisdom, knows grown women still have soft spots for the princess thing. Times writer and occasional Deal Divas correspondent Sabrina Rocco recently ventured to Disney World for the launch of the new makeup line, Beautifully Disney, full of glosses and polishes starring those legendary good girls and bad girls. Sabrina reviewed the line and ruminated about why it's OK to embrace your inner child.
Come to think of it, maybe I'd rather be Sebastian. He had the best songs, and he didn't get stabbed at the end. Get on the Sebastian lip gloss, Disney.
